Q: Where is Rich Nature Seabuckthorn from?

A: Rich Nature Seabuckthorn is from the desert, China.  Seabuckthorn from desert preserves the nutrients because of the dry and cold climate.  Rich Nature Seabuckthorn oil is processed from seeds. High Vitamin E concentration is one of the main advantages of seed oil.  The Rich Nature seed oil contains about 66% of the bio-active compounds found in Seabuckthorn.

Q: How is Rich Nature Seabuckthorn seed oil processed?

A: Rich Nature Seabuckthorn seed oil is made through a process called carbon dioxide supercritical fluid extraction (SFE).  This technology allows production of 100% pure natural oil and preserves all of the bio-active components in the oil.  Since the technology involves only physical reactions, there is no chemical solvent contamination in the oil.

Q: What is the difference between Seabuckthorn and other medicinal oil, such as Evening Primrose oil and Flaxseed oil?

A:  There are two major differences.  First, Seabuckthorn oil contains abundant vitamin E, about 300mg/100g. Since Vitamin E is a strong anti-oxidant, it prevents the oil from oxidization, which makes the oil very stable.  Other medicinal oils do not contain or contain very little vitamin E.  PrimRose oil contains no Vitamin E, it has a very short shelf life, as short as 2 weeks.  Primrose oil must be put in capsules when the oil is fresh.  Secondly, Seabuckthorn oil contains 106 bio-active nutrients.  All the nutrients have been confirmed by 40 years of research in Russia and China.  Other medicinal oils have not been reported to contain such multi-nutrients.

Q:  Who will be benefit most from Seabuckthorn oil?

A:  People who experience one of the following conditions may benefit the most from Seabuckthorn oil.  

1. Seabuckthorn oil helps to support healthy mucous in gastrointestinal system.  How Seabluckthorn oil functions on mucous remains unclear.  Russian doctors believe it may relate to the combination effects of Beta-carotene and other bio-active compounds.  

2. People who have consistent unhealthy cholesterol or triglercerides may also benefit from Seabuckthorn oil.  The hydroxycoumarin in Seabuckthorn oil can promote normal blood circulation.  The sitosterol in Seabuckthorn helps cholesterol to bind to the food and not to stick on blood vessels, therefore, to maintain healthy heart.
