included in the study. SprainCare
was applied to affected areas 3 times a day, 5ml for each
application. All
patients were followed up for 7 days.
3.
Efficacy:
Efficacy was
evaluated by using symptom scores composed of the severity of
pain, swelling, tenderness, joint instability and stiffness.
1)
Most
effective: all
symptoms were eliminated, or a reduction of the total symptom
score by more than 50%;
2)
Improvement:
symptoms were relieved, symptom score reduced 30-45%;
3)
Inefficacy:
symptoms score was reduced by less than 30%.
