Father
of Traditional Chinese Medicine |

|
 |
Dr.
Cui Yueli, former Minister of Health of China and Senior
Adviser of Rich Nature, dedicated his life to the heritage and
development of TCM, and aimed to spread it globally even
during the years when TCM was neglected. During his term as
Minister of Health he obtained and invested hundreds of
millions of Chinese dollars to promote the traditional
medicine network across China. With a 2-year period early in
his ministry, Dr. Cui engineered the expansion of traditional
clinics from one hundred to couple thousands.
|
| He
traveled tens
of thousand of miles to visit national monorities with the
intent to save and develop their traditional medicines.
He insisted that an authentic and systematic education
of TCM should be summarized, and the experiences of the famous
doctors of China should be passed on to the younger doctors.
He supported the scientific research on Chinese herbal
medicine and urged these doctors to learn from their medical
counterparts from other countries. His ultimate wish was to
inherit and develop Cinese herbal medicine in an overall
systemic and scientific way, so that Chinese medicine could
assume a leadership role in the World.
